Our vision at Tabernacle Baptist Church (TBC) is for God to mold you into a purpose-filled vessel, pointing all grace and glory back to Him. My wife and I speak blessings over your family. Our prayer is that your home brightly reflects God’s joy, peace, and goodness. As His children, we are promised an abundant life: in our relationships, ministries, missions, and throughout our pilgrimage. About Our Pastor
Reverend Ryan M. Buckland was born in Red Bank, New Jersey. Rev. Buckland is the proud husband of Kye Buckland. Rev. Buckland and Kye Buckland are the proud parents of four beautiful children.
Reverend Buckland was licensed to preach in the African Methodist Episcopal Church at the age of seventeen, and after many years of practicing his gift, God called him to pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Over the years, Rev. Buckland has loved preaching and teaching the word of God through revivals, lectures, conferences, seminars, and various services throughout the tri-state area.
Not only is Rev. Buckland blessed with the call to preach, he is also known for being a talented musician who has played for various churches over the past 25 years. Rev. Buckland's passion for success has been both an inspiration and motivation to all those around him. In addition to Rev. Buckland's other roles, he is a licensed funeral director and the owner of Buckland Funeral Home in Somerville, New Jersey. Over the years he has served the state of New Jersey with deep compassion and sensitivity. His willingness to serve has propelled him to succeed in every aspect of his life. Rev. Buckland is an active member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), National Funeral Directors & Mortician Association (NFDMA), New Jersey State Funeral Association (NJSFDA) President of the Garden State Funeral Directors Association (GSFDA), and the President of the Middlesex and Somerset County Funeral Directors Association (MSCFDA).
